अगर आप MX Player में video देखते हो, तो कभी न कभी “Audio format not supported” वाला error ज़रूर देखा होगा। Video चल जाती है लेकिन आवाज़ नहीं आती। ज़्यादातर लोग सोचते हैं file खराब है, लेकिन असल problem codec की होती है।

MX Player Custom Codec क्या होता है
Custom codec एक plugin file होती है जिसे MX Player में अलग से install करना पड़ता है। इसका काम है उन audio formats को support देना जो default MX Player में नहीं चलते।

सबसे पहले codec file download करें। File zip format में होती है, उसे extract नहीं करना होता।
अब MX Player open करें और settings में जाएँ। Decoder section में custom codec option मिलेगा। वहाँ codec file select करनी होती है।
File select करते ही player restart मांगेगा। Restart के बाद codec activate हो जाता है।
Install करने के बाद क्या फर्क पड़ता है
Codec install करने के बाद वही video दुबारा चलाओ जिसमें audio नहीं आ रही थी। अब आवाज़ proper आने लगेगी।
Surround sound और high bitrate audio भी smoothly play होता है। Overall playback experience better हो जाता है।
Codec use करना safe है या नहीं
अगर codec trusted source से download किया गया है, तो use करना safe है। यह सिर्फ audio decoding file होती है, कोई app या executable software नहीं।
फिर भी unknown sites से download करने से बचना चाहिए। हमेशा updated codec use करना better रहता है।
Common problems और उनका fix
कभी-कभी codec select करने के बाद error आ जाता है कि “codec not supported”। इसका मतलब wrong version download हुआ है।
ऐसी situation में सही processor वाला codec दुबारा download करना पड़ता है। सही file लगते ही problem fix हो जाती है।
